No.7 Welsh Pony

 

Welsh Pony has waited so long to be restored back to working order and so it was very exciting to see this finally happen and for this popular little engine to finally join the others at this railway.

Welsh Pony was blessed by the vicar too at a special launch.

Before the engines appeared, ponies would pull empty wagons up the mountain and wizz down in a Dandy carriage with the gravity train full of slate.

When the Fairlie engine came to The Ffestiniog Railway there was a grand launch and people visited from all over the world to see it.
